Chatsworth - Pride and Prejudice

Transformed into the Darcy estate, Chatsworth House is a memorable setting for Pemberley in the recent adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.  Experience Lizzie Bennet’s apprehension as the magnificent view of Pemberley (Chatsworth House) appears on the horizon, where it is thought Jane Austen first gathered inspiration for the Darcy estate. As well as the exterior, two further rooms are used for filming, including the grand staircase of the Painted Hall and the Sculpture Gallery where you can see the bust statue of Mr Darcy as seen in the film.
